My baby has become a little boy! He has a mouth full of chompers, lots of hair, and big ol' feet! He also follows directions well, always wants to help, and has an opinion. Yesterday afternoon we did yard work and then I washed our cars. A few weeks ago I would have had to chase Jackson to keep him out of the street, but not anymore. He grabbed a sponge and copied me scrubbing away. Then he held the hose and helped me get the soap off. I watched in amazement as he drug the hose where I needed it and would dip my sponge in the water for me. He likes to carry things to Justin and I, which sometimes makes it tricky to find them later. Last night he would come in the kitchen and say "more, " so I gave him a strawberry to take to "Dada." They shared it, then he'd do it again. It was so sweet! I just wonder...does this change happen overnight? It seems like he just wakes up one day and decides to say a new word or learn a new trick. It's a little scary!
Here is Jackson's first trip to the zoo:

He looks so old here, standing like a big boy in front of the penguins.

Typical! Climbing the fence around the ducks and swans.

Justin was pretty intrigued by these birds. You could buy a stick with honey and birdseed on the end to feed them. I wasn't to big on going in this area...the noise alone terrified me! But I was afraid I would miss something, so I made the sacrifice! Jackson wanted to pick one up.

Just after this picture was snapped, an ostrich peed and everyone groaned!

Jackson's new wagon!! Nana thought he would love this, and she was right!! He could not get enough.

Getting himself in!

I love the Radio Flyer wagon your mom got him, and it even has two seats. We need one of those on the compound... except we'd have to have one with really large wheels to make it down the gravel road. :+}
